Tianshan Grand Canyon In Urumqi

Tianshan Grand Canyon, also known as kizilia Grand Canyon, is about 50km south of Urumqi. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with an average altitude of 2020 meters and an annual average temperature of 4-6 ℃. It is the most complete and ornamental primitive snow mountain spruce forest on the northern slope of Tianshan Mountain. Located in the north slope of the middle section of the Tianshan Mountains, between Bogda peak and tenger peak, Dengcao gully, Banfanggou Township, karawucheng mountain canyon, the middle section of the Tianshan Mountains, the southern edge of Junggar basin, both high mountains and Intermountain basins, with towering mountains and fluctuating and changeable terrain, the canyon is generally high in the South and low in the north, inclined from south to north, southwest to northeast.
The main scenic spots are Tianshan dam leisure area and Zhaobi mountain resort Amusement area, gasdaban tourist area, Swan Lake natural scenic area, niuyaku Lake Forest Songtao tourist area, Kazak national style park, alpine grassland ecological area, snow mountain glacier tourist area, two lakes, three waterfalls, four streams, eighteen valleys compete with each other, especially "Qisong, strange rocks, cloud sea" is favored by tourists.You can observe some different views and places while you going into the site, such as Tianshui lake, Green Dragon Bay, Swan lake, meadows,high mountain forests etc.
