Kyrgyzstan to Kashgar via Torugart/Irkeshtam Pass, 180-220km (border to Kashgar)

Cross into China via Torugart or Irkeshtam Pass. Complete initial customs formalities with guide assistance. Overnight: Kashgar

Day 2

Kashgar – Vehicle Customs Clearance, license

Finalize vehicle customs clearance, Chinese driving license and Number plate. Explore Kashgar Old Town and Id Kah Mosque. Overnight: Kashgar

Day 3

Kashgar City Tour, Explore Kashgar

Visit the Kashgar Livestock Market, a vibrant Silk Road tradition. Stroll through Handicraft Street and watch artisans create copperware and carpets. Enjoy Uyghur cuisine at a local restaurant. Overnight: Kashgar

Day 4

Kashgar to Kucha – 700km (9 hours)

Drive through the Taklamakan Desert via the Tarim Basin. Visit Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight: Kucha

Kucha to Turpan – 500km (7 hours)

Turpan to Kumul (Hami) – 400km (6 hours)

Dunhuang to Zhangye – 600km (8 hours)

Zhangye to Lanzhou – 500km (7 hours)

Lanzhou to Longnan – 450km (6 hours)
