Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Urumqi
Highlights:Airport transfer, Urumqi city introduction.
After arrival, transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner featuring Uyghur cuisine.
Overnight: Urumqi | Meals:Dinner
Day 2: Urumqi → Heavenly Lake → Turpan (380km, 5hrs)
Highlights:Heavenly Lake, drive through the Tianshan Mountains.
After breakfast, drive to Heavenly Lake. Stroll along the lakeside boardwalk or take a boat ride. Later, travel to Turpan, a desert oasis famed for vineyards and ancient relics.

Day 3: Turpan → Urumqi (320km, 4.5hrs)
Highlights:Tuyuk Village, Flaming Mountain, Bezilik Caves, Jiaohe Ruins, Karez Wells, Sultan Minaret.
Start at Tuyuk Village, a traditional Uyghur settlement. Visit the fiery-red Flaming Mountain, followed by the Bezilik Buddhist Caves with ancient murals. Explore the Jiaohe Ruins, a 2,000-year-old Silk Road city. Learn about the underground Karez irrigation system and admire the Sultan Minaret’s Islamic architecture. Return to Urumqi in the evening.

Day 4: Urumqi → Sayram Lake (550km, 6hrs)
Highlights:Sayram Lake.
Drive through rugged valleys and pastures to Sayram Lake. Arrive by late afternoon and walk along the lake-shore, soaking in views of wildflowers and distant peaks.
Overnight:Around Sayram Lake | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 5: Sayram Lake → Narat Grassland (385km, 4.5hrs)
Highlights:Narat Grassland nomadic culture.
Journey to Narat Grassland, a vast expanse of rolling meadows. Visit a Kazakh yurt, try traditional dairy products, and enjoy horseback riding (optional).
Overnight:Narat Town | Meals:Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 6: Fly to Urumqi
Highlights:Urumqi Grand Bazaar.
Fly back to Urumqi. Explore the Grand Bazaar, browsing carpets, silk, and local snacks like lamb kebabs and naan. Enjoy a farewell dinner.

Day 7: Departure
Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
