Itinerary
Day 1
Kazakhstan to Khorgas Town via Khorgas pass, finish the custom service and drive to Yining(Ghulja) city
We take an overland tour to Khorgas city through the khorghas pass, this is one of the easiest border in China, Khrghas city is the international business city, a small town, we will meet out our Chinese guide at the immigration office and travel to Ghulja city to overnight.
Day 2
Yining city, Do the license and number plate process
Today we go to the traffic police office of Ili prefecture to get the Chinese license and number plate. Back to the Hotel in Ghulja city.
Day 3
In the morning finish the license process, after noon drive to Narat,260km,5hours
It may take longer In the traffic office for license, so today morning we go to the traffic office again to finish the work, after we got the license we travel to the Narat town and take a tour to Narat grassland.
Day 4
Narat to Kucha, 520km,11hourse
Today we self-drive/ride on the amazing road G217 also called Du-Ku road, on the road we will see the vast grasslands and beautiful mountains of Tianshan.
Day 5
Kucha to Kashgar, 710km, 10 hourse
In the early morning, we take an overland tour to Kashgar, all the road is very good quality high way, we will stop some service area to take a break and lunch.
Day 6
Kashgar tour
On this day, you can take a tour to Kashgar city by your self, kashgar is famous historical city along the silkroad.
Day 7
Kashgar to Tashkorgan (300km)
We travel to Tashkorgan from Kashgar city along the Karakorum high way(KKH), on the road we will pass villages, amazing mountain valleys, and famous Muztagh-ata mountain and Karakol lake.
Day 8
Tashkorgan to Pakistan via Khonjirap Pass(125km till border)
Today is the last day in China, in the morning we drive to the immigration office in Tashkorgan, after finish all the formalities you take an overland tour to Khonjirap pass witch is highest border(4800m) in the world. This is very flexible tour, you can also travel opposite direction along the same destinations, you can enter China from Pakistan and exit from China to Kazakhstan.
