Itinerary
Day 1: Khonjirap Pass → Tashkorgan (By Vehicle)
Highlights: Cross the Khonjirap Pass (4,800m), enter China from Pakistan.
After clearing immigration at the Tashkorgan Border,meet your guide and transfer to Tashkorgan. Settle into your hotel and rest to acclimatize to the altitude. Overnight: Hotel in Tashkorgan.Day 2: Tashkorgan → Karakul Lake (100 km, 4–5 hrs)
Highlights: Karakoram Highway vistas, Muztagh Ata Peak, Karakul Lake.
Cycle downhill along the highway, with the snow-capped Muztagh Ata(7,546m) towering in the distance. Arrive at Karakul Lake, a glacial gem reflecting the surrounding peaks. Opt for a traditional home-stay or upgrade to the lakeside RV hotel. Overnight: Home-stay near Karakul Lake.Day 3: Karakul Lake → Oytagh (110 km, 5–6 hrs)
Highlights: White Sand Mountain, Red Valley.
Pedal through the surreal White Sand Mountain, where dunes contrast with barren cliffs, then descend into the rust-colored Red Valley. The route ends in Oytagh, a quiet town nestled in the mountains. Overnight: Hotel in Oytagh.Day 4: Oytagh → Kashgar (90 km, 4–5 hrs)
