A great tour from Lhasa to Ali

West China Expeditions organized a private tour for me across Tibet, from Lhasa to Ali (Ngari). It worked out very well! Everything went as agreed.

I visited various monasteries and historic sights near Lhasa and also the Guge Kingdom site near Ngari. But the high points of the tour were definitely seeing the views over Mount Everest and Mount Khailash!

Dawa was a very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful guide. He was flexible in optimizing the tour for me, which I appreciate.

I had hoped to also do the Ali to Kashgar section, but that is not permitted this year. So maybe I will come back to do that in a future year!

West China/Tibet Trip. Silk Road. My trip from Kashgar to Xian and into Tibet was seamless thanks to Adi and his team at West China Expeditions. After traveling extensively over the last 55 years I am at an age when I enjoy a good moan, however, there was nothing on this journey which hadn't been anticipated by Adi and dealt with. Transport and hotels were first class and trip highlights numerous throughout the four weeks. I spent a few days in Beijing before taking the trans-Siberian train into Mongolia (freezing in late November). Again this was all superbly arranged through West China and their partners. Many thanks to Adi and his team for their advice, organization and companionship which made this trip so memorable.

Service Beyond Expected

Service beyond expected. Booked a 10-day silk route tour with Adi, starting in Xi’an and ending in Xinjiang. Adi was really great and efficient at organizing the trip. He brought us around in Turpan and Urumqi himself and went beyond expectations to cater to our every needs. He was honest and sincere in sharing with us his culture while making sure we were as comfortable as possible. His affiliates in the other cities that brought us around were amazing as well, and we felt really taken care of by them. Would definitely recommend his services.

A great visit, comfortable car, understand clients’ needs We use West China Expeditions for our whole trip in Xinjiang. In order to understand xinjiang better, Adilijan added xinjiang museum to the itinary so that we can have a better understanding of the area and ethic minorities in this region. We really appreciate Adiljan being accomodative abd added things to the itinary without charge like Red Hill in Urumqi, theatre near Urumuqi. This have really enhanced our overall experience of this visit.

Are you thinking of wending your way through the far west of China? If so, we can wholeheartedly endorse Adiljan as a knowledgeable, understanding and resourceful professional. We used his services for about 10 days and he showed us many fascinating and several wondrous sights.
