Irkeshtam Pass is located 200 kilometers south of Torugat Pass, it was one of the main passes used by Silk Road caravan traveling between China and Central Asia linking up Kashgar with the Fergana Valley. You can not travel through Irkeshtam pass without a permit and organized private vehicle and guide. since the regular bus is only for Kyrgyzstan and Chinese travelers.we can provide you all the necessary services. Kashgar to Kyrgyzstan border crossing via Irkeshtam pass,230km, 5 hours

We start the tour early in the morning from the Hotel in Kashgar, our local guide and driver will take you to the immigration office witch is 80km away from the Kashgar city between Kashgar city and Irkeshtam pass, your guide will help you with the permits and tell you what to do at the immigration office, after you finish border formalities continue to drive to Irkeshtam pass, after 150km you will arrive the border gate, and that is the place you say good bye to our guide and driver, please make sure that you arrange the Kyrgyzstan site transportation, of course we can help you this too if you need since we have partners in Kyrgyzstan.

Kyrgyzstan to Kashgar border crossing via Irkeshtam pass,230km, 5 hours

Our guide will be at the Chinese Kyrgyzstan border gate about 14:30 pm (Beijing  time), you can arrange transportation in Kyrgyzstan site by yourself. If you need we also can help you since we have good partners in Kyrgyzstan, after you meet our guide and driver officers will check your passport and luggage simply, then you can drive to Kashgar, immigration office is 150km away from the border gate on the way to Kashgar. At the immigration office your guide will help you with the permits and tell you what to do, after you finish border formalities continue to drive to Kashgar and drop you to the Hotel in the Kashgar.
