Lanzhou
Lanzhou is located in the northwest of China and the central part of Gansu Province. It is located in the geometric center of the continental territory of China. It is called “Lan” or “Gao” for short, and it was called “Jincheng” in ancient times. It is the capital of Gansu Province, an important industrial base and comprehensive transportation hub in Northwest China approved by the State Council, one of the important central cities in the western region, an important node city of the Silk Road Economic Belt, and one of the five central cities in the Chinese section of the new Eurasian Continental Bridge, enjoying “the important town of the Silk Road”, “the Pearl of the Yellow River”, “the summer palace in the west”, “the capital of waterways” “Famous fruit city” and other good reputation.Lanzhou is high in the West and south, low in the northeast. The Yellow River flows from the southwest to the northeast, crosses the whole area, cuts through the mountains, and forms the Pearl River Valley alternating with the basin. Lanzhou is an important town of the ancient “Silk Road”, with many places of interest and historic sites. It has been selected as one of China’s top ten summer tourism cities. There are Xujiashan, turugou and Shifo Valley in the National Forest Park, Wuquan mountain, Baita Mountain, baiyun temple and other places of interest in the urban area, as well as Lanshan Park, West Lake Park, Riverside Park and water park with different styles.
