Xiahe
Xiahe is a county under the jurisdiction of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Gansu Province, named after Daxia river. Xiahe County is located in the northwest of Gannan Prefecture, adjacent to Hezuo city and Luqu County in the East and south, Linxia Prefecture in the north, Xunhua County and Tongren County in Qinghai, and Zeku County in Qinghai in the West. It is located at the northeast edge of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau, in the southwest of Gansu Province, and in the northwest of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. The terrain inclines from northwest to Southeast with an altitude of 3000m-3800m. As of 2016, there are 89500 permanent residents in Xiahe County. Bajiaocheng is located on the platform where Yangqu River and Yangla River meet in the east of ganjiatan, Xiahe County. The total length of Bajiao city is 2193.4 meters, the total length of the existing ruins outside the city is 1080 meters, and the area inside the city is 200000 square meters. In 1981, it was listed as a key cultural relics protection unit in Gansu Province.
