Zhangye

Zhangye City is located in the northwest of Gansu Province in China, in the middle of Hexi Corridor, named after “zhangguoarmye, connecting with the western regions”. It is a prefecture level city in Gansu Province, known as “Ganzhou” in ancient times, that is, the origin of the name “Gan” in Gansu Province. It is located in the west of Gansu Province, in the middle of Hexi Corridor, Zhangye lies on Qilian Mountain in the south, heli mountain and Longshou mountain in the north, and Heihe River runs through the whole territory, forming a unique desert oasis scene; It is known as the land of mulberry and hemp and the land of fish and rice.Zhangye City covers an area of 40874 square kilometers.  Snow mountains, grasslands, clear water and deserts form an interesting contrast, which not only has the charm of the southern country, but also has the customs of the frontier.
