Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Urumqi by flight
Our guide will welcome you at the Urumqi airport and take you to the Hotel.
Overnight in Urumqi.

Day 2
Urumqi to Turpan ,200KM ,3 hours
After breakfast travel to Turpan, the hottest place in China, along the way can enjoy the country's largest wind power station-Dabancheng, and dead sea of China - salt lake. After lunch drive to to Tuyuk ancient village, on the way see the flaming mountain, Tuyuq village has 1700 years of history, is the oldest Uighur village in Xinjiang, then drive to the Jiaohe ancient city which is the largest and the most well preserved Adobe buildings city in China, overnight in Turpan.

Day 3
Turpan to Korla, 400Km, 5hours
After breakfast visit Karez well, is a special area of desert underground irrigation system, one of the three ancient achievments of China, after that we travel to Korla visit the ancient pass- Iron Gate pass. Overnight in Korla.

Day 4
Korla to Taklamakan desert back to Luntai, 400km
After breakfast, we travel to Taklamakan desert along the desert highway, it is the longest desert road in the world, a total length of 500KM, and see the "dead sea" - Taklamakan Desert, known as the "the green Great Wall", you can enjoy the Millennium Populus diversifolia forest along the way, because rooted over 50 meters down the ground, they thrive in hostile environments, defying droughts, sandstorms and salinization, survive and multiply in the desert, it was praised as " hero of the desert", we will drive one part of the desert road to make sure everyone can appreciate this magnificent "Dead Sea" , after that returned to Luntai and overnight there..

Day 5
Luntai to Kucha ,280KM, 3 hours
After breakfast, we travel to Kizil Grottoes, it is one of the "four famous grottos" in China，is located above the precipitous rock faces and sheer cliffs. The preservation of the murals cave is more than 80, a total area of about 10 thousand square meters of murals. Buddhism was introduced to ancient China from ancient India through the Pamirs plateau, they built Kizil Grottoes when went through the western regions, this is also the earliest and most west part grottos in China, After that we drive back to Kucha, visit the earliest religious court —— Kucha grand mosque, and ancient Subhash city site. Overnight in Kucha.

Day 6
Kucha to Wensu Grand canyon to Aksu ,450 Km, 6 hours
After breakfast we head to the Grand Canyon of Wensu and experience the geological park which was formed 25 million years ago. After that we travel to Aksu. Overnight in Aksu.

Day 7
Aksu to Kashgar , 470Km, 8hours
After breakfast we travel to Kashgar, it is located in Kashgar river formed by alluvial flood plains, is one of the oldest and the most fertile oasis in west part of Xinjiang, known as "hometown of fruits". Overnight in Kashgar.

Day 8
Kashgar tour
Today we are going to have Kashgar tour, firstly visit Apak hoja tomb, it is the largest mausoleum in western China, afternoon we visit Id Kah mosque which is the largest mosque in size and influence in China. Then stroll in the handcrafts street, on both sides of the street is full of all kinds of folk arts and crafts workshop. After this, continue to visit the old town of Kashgar. many buildings were constructed for over 400 years. Overnight in Kashgar.

Day 9
Kashgar to Tashkorgan, 300 Km, 6hours
After breakfast travel to Tashkorgan County along Karakorum highway, on the way can see the Uyghur farmers in rural scenery. Overlooking to the southern giant Mountains and the beautiful scenery, Enjoy an altitude of 7546 meters of the Muztagh ata snow mountain and Karakul lake, Overnight in Tashkorgan.

Day 10
Tashkorgan to Kashgar (300KM 6hours)
After breakfast we visit Golden grassland at the mountain front,then go to Stone City, the city walls of Shiling base is big, this is one of the thirty-six kingdoms location named puli in the western regions before 2000 years ago. After that we Travel to Kashgar to overnight.

Day 11
Kashgar to Shipton’s Arch, 70km, 1.5hours
After breakfast, we drive to the Shipton’s Arch, in 1947, the British explorer Shipton had found a stone arch in the mountains of the Pamirs, since it is called Shipton’s Arch by the foreigners, the local people reverently call it "Hole mountain", since then, the Hole mountain picture appeared in the "National Geographic" magazine, gradually being recognized. In 2005, identified as the world's 20 most scenic spots worthy of exploration of American Adventure magazine. Afternoon return to Kashgar, Take the afternoon train with soft bed back to Urumqi. Overnight in Train.
