Itinerary
Day 1
Enter China via Mohan Border (Laos to Mengla),20km (0.5 hours)
Cross into China at Mohan Port (Yunnan-Laos border). Complete entry formalities and transfer to Mengla. Overnight: MenglaDay 2
Mengla to Puer,150km (3 hours)
Apply for temporary Chinese driving license and vehicle license plate in Mengla. Drive to Puer after administrative procedures. Visit Puer Tea Plantations if time allows. Overnight: PuerDay 3
Puer to Kunming, 400km (6 hours)
Drive through Xishuangbanna’s tropical landscapes. Explore Kunming’s Green Lake Park in the evening. Overnight: KunmingDay 4
Kunming to Zhaotong, 400km (6 hours)
Drive through rural Yunnan to Zhaotong. Visit Dashanbao Black-Necked Crane Reserve (seasonal). Overnight: ZhaotongDay 5
Zhaotong to Chengdu, 500km (7 hours)
Drive to Chengdu, passing through Sichuan’s lush valleys. Evening stroll in Tianfu Square (optional). Overnight: ChengduDay 6
Chengdu to Longnan, 600km (8 hours)
Cross the Qinling Mountains into Gansu Province. Overnight: LongnanDay 7
Longnan to Lanzhou, 450km (6 hours)
Visit Lanzhou’s Yellow River Mother Sculpture. Taste authentic Lanzhou Beef Noodles. Overnight: LanzhouDay 8
Lanzhou to Zhangye, 500km (7 hours)
Drive through the Hexi Corridor (Silk Road route). Sunset visit to Zhangye Danxia National Park. Overnight: ZhangyeDay 9
Zhangye to Dunhuang, 600km (8 hours)
Explore Mingsha Sand Dunes and Crescent Moon Lake. Overnight: DunhuangDay 10
Dunhuang to Kumul (Hami), 400km (6 hours)
Morning visit to Mogao Caves (UNESCO). Drive to Kumul, famous for sweet Hami melons. Overnight: KumulDay 11
Kumul to Turpan, 400km (6 hours)
Explore Turpan’s Flaming Mountains and Karez Canals. Overnight: TurpanDay 12
Turpan to Kucha, 500km (7 hours)
Visit Jiaohe Ancient City ruins. Overnight: KuchaDay 13
Kucha to Kashgar, 700km (9 hours)

Kashgar Exploration
Explore Kashgar Old Town and Id Kah Mosque. Shop at the Sunday Bazaar (if timed right). Overnight: KashgarDay 15
Kashgar to Kyrgyzstan, 180-220km (5 hours)
Drive to Torugart or Irkeshtam Pass for border exit. Complete customs formalities and cross into Kyrgyzstan. Tour Concludes: Your adventure ends here.

This is very flexible tour, you can also travel opposite direction along the same destinations, you can enter China from Kyrgyzstan via Torugart or Irkeshtam pass and exit from China to Laos.
