In just 5 days, you’ll cross from Kyrgyzstan to China and onward to Pakistan, experiencing breathtaking landscapes, rich cultures, and historic sites. Highlights include Kashgar Old Town, Karakul Lake, the legendary Karakoram Highway (KKH), and the ancient Silk Road outpost of Tashkorgan.
Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Kashgar from Kyrgyzstan via Torugart/Irkeshtam Pass
Highlights: Border Crossing, Kashgar Arrival
Begin your journey from Kyrgyzstan, arriving at the Kyrgyzstan-China border gate by 11:00 AM (Kyrgyz time). Meet your guide, who will assist with entry formalities at the Chinese immigration office. After receiving your entry stamp, park your vehicle at the Chinese customs parking lot (safe and secure). Transfer to Kashgar by our vehicle for overnight stay. Note: Vehicle customs clearance requires two days. Today, you’ll complete the initial paperwork, and your guide will accompany you tomorrow to finalize the process. (some times can finish in one day)

Day 2: Kashgar – Vehicle Customs Clearance
Highlights: Customs Formalities, Kashgar Exploration
Return to the immigration office with your guide to complete the remaining customs clearance. Once approved, drive your vehicle to Kashgar and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Recommendation: Stroll through Kashgar Old Town or visit the bustling Sunday Bazaar (if applicable).

Day 3: Free Day Tour in Kashgar

Enjoy a full day to explore Kashgar independently. Must-See Attractions: Id Kah Mosque: The largest mosque in Xinjiang, built in 1442. Kashgar Livestock Market: A vibrant hub of traditional trading. Handicraft Street: Discover local artisans crafting copperware, carpets, and musical instruments. Note: Please refrain from driving your vehicle today to allow for rest and preparation for the next leg of your journey.

Day 4: Kashgar to Tashkorgan – 300km (7 hours)

Stop at Karakul Lake (3,600m), where the snow-capped Muztagh Ata (7,546m) reflects in its turquoise waters. Arrive in Tashkorgan, a historic Silk Road town near the Pakistan border.
