Ali
Ali Region is the only one in Tibet Autonomous Region. It is located in the southwest border of China, the west of Tibet Autonomous Region, the north of Qinghai Tibet Plateau, the north of Hetian region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, the east of Naqu City, the southeast of Xigaze City, and the southwest and west of Nepal, India, Kashmir as the boundary. According to the second land survey, the total area of the whole region is 337174.95 square kilometers, with a permanent population of 107400 at the end of 2017. With an average altitude of more than 4500 meters, Ali area is known as “the roof of the roof of the world”, “the third pole of the world” and “the forbidden area of life”. The main mountains in the territory are Himalayas, Gangdise mountains, Karakoram mountains, etc., the main rivers are Shiquan River, Xiangquan River, Peacock River, etc., and the main lakes are Zarina mucuo, Bangong Lake, laonco, etc. The main tourist attractions are Guge Kingdom site, Tuolin temple, Zhada tulin, etc. The main mountains are Himalayas, Gangdise mountains and Karakoram mountains. Bangong Lake is a pure land in nature and a famous tourist attraction in Ali plateau and even in Tibet. Bangong Lake Island is a small island with a length of 300 meters and a width of more than 200 meters. There are no big trees on the island, only some low shrubs. There are also some unnamed grass plants and birds all over the bank.
