It is located on the cliff of motoc Valley, under the burning mountain, about 55 kilometers east of Turpan city. Bezeklik is a word in Uyghur, which means "a place of beautiful decoration". It is a complex of Buddhist caves and caves, an important Buddhist worship center, inhabiting Buddhist monks from the 5th to 14th century. During the famous Gaochang Kingdom, Buddhism flourished and became the official religion of the kingdom. Bezeklik thousand Buddha cave has officially become a national key cultural relics protection unit, which was determined as a national key cultural relics protection unit in 1982. There are 94 caves, 46 caves and only 8 murals. The surviving murals still show the ancient civilization to the people and attract the attention of experts and scholars who study the history and art of Buddhism all over the world. They have immeasurable historical and artistic value.
