It is the world's first giant panda discovery site, which is composed of seven nature reserves including Wolong Nature Reserve in Sichuan Province, China. The preserved wild giant pandas account for more than 30% of the world's total, and it is the world's largest and most complete giant panda habitat, covering an area of 9245 square kilometers. In addition, it is also a habitat for endangered species such as pandas, snow leopards and clouded leopards. It is the most abundant plant area in all temperate regions in the world, and it has been identified as one of 200 ecological regions by the World Wide Fund for nature (WWF). In a sense, it can be said to be a "living museum". There are more than 10000 kinds of higher plants, as well as unique rare species such as golden monkey and antelope. Tourists can watch the cute giant panda living here through the railings, and also go to the panda delivery room to see the newborn baby. It is suggested to start the tour around 9 a.m. to avoid the flow of people and enjoy the most active posture of the giant panda.
