Located in the north of tashkur County, this famous stone city is one of the three most famous stone cities in Chinese history, near Snow Mountain and tashkur river. It is a fortress city and a strategic fortress at the intersection of the central and southern lines of the ancient Silk Road. There are ancient ruins, official residences and temples from the Jin Tang Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty. In ancient times, it was called "Puli", the capital of the kingdom of Puli, and one of the 36 kingdoms in the western region. There are city sites, temples, residences in the Jin and Tang Dynasties and official offices in the Qing Dynasty. There are multiple or broken or continuous walls outside the city. The stone Hills between the partition walls overlap, and the stones pile up. The inner city is relatively complete, and the scale of ancient castle can be seen vaguely. The perimeter of the city wall is 1285 meters. The city walls are made of mud and stone. There are also several outposts and forts built of adobe. There are temples in the east of the city, and there are more than 40 sites in the West and southeast of the city. Although there are only ruins in the stone city, there are snow peaks around it, grass beaches and rivers under it, as well as strong Tajik ethnic customs, which is quite rough and unconstrained.
