The temple of heaven is a world cultural heritage site, a national key cultural relic protection unit, a national AAAAA level scenic spot and a national civilized scenic spot demonstration point. Temple of heaven, in the south of Beijing, east of Yongdingmen inner street, Dongcheng District, covers an area of 2.73 million square meters. Temple of Heaven Park is a place where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worship the heaven and pray for a good harvest every year. Temple of heaven is famous for its rigorous architectural layout, unique architectural structure and magnificent architectural decoration. The temple of heaven consists of two parts: the inner altar and the outer altar. The main building of the temple of heaven is on the north-south axis of the inner altar. The round hill altar is in the south, offering sacrifices to the heaven, including the round hill, the imperial dome, etc.; the prayer Valley altar is in the north, including the prayer Valley, the prayer hall for the new year, the emperor's Qian hall, the prayer gate, etc., with walls in the middle. The two altars are connected by a 360 meter long, 30 meter wide, low in the South and high in the north. On both sides of the Danbi bridge are large areas of ancient Berlin. In the west wall of the inner altar, there is the fasting palace, which is the residence of the emperor before the sacrifice. In the west wall of the outer altar, there are Shenyue office and sacrifice office. The main buildings in the altar include the hall of praying for the new year, the hall of Emperor Qianlong, the circular dome, the imperial dome, the hall of fasting, the hall without beams, the long corridor, the double ring longevity Pavilion, etc., as well as the echo wall, Sanyin stone, Qixing stone and other places of interest.
