It is an ancient Uygur village, located in the South Valley of tuyugou Grand Canyon at the south foot of the volcano. According to the local natural environment and survival needs, masonry, foundation,excavation, arch, paste, building (shed) and other forms are adopted. Up to now, it is a well preserved native building complex in China, which can be called "the first native village in China". It is a part of Huoshaoshan Grand Canyon, with very colorful scenery, including red mountain, mud house, vineyard and mulberry tree Give you the image and feeling of the middle ages.
On one side of the village, there is an ancient cemetery named tuyuk Mazar. It is the oldest Uygur Mazar in Xinjiang at present. It retains traditional residential buildings and folk customs. There is an old mosque in the village, which is older than the Emin minaret in Turpan city. The houses and buildings are all loess kiln houses, big, small, high and short; there are one floor, but also more than two floors; there are independent houses, but also one piece. It is characterized by good economic benefits, warm in winter and cool in summer, and beautiful appearance. Walking in the village at the bottom of the canyon, it seems to be in a paradise, making people forget the noise of the city and the troubles of life.
