Xiangshawan, China's first desert resort, is a large-scale comprehensive desert leisure scenic spot integrating sightseeing and leisure vacation. Located at the easternmost end of China's famous Kubuqi Desert, it is the nearest desert tourist resort in China , as well as the national cultural industry demonstration base. It has the longest camel team in the world - more than 500. At the 2018 China Yellow River Tourism Conference, Xiangshawan was rated as "50 Views of China Yellow River". Xiangshawan is located in the Wujin triangle of Shaanxi, Shanxi and Inner Mongolia, and is located in the easternmost end of the famous Kubuqi Desert in China. With an area of 24 square kilometers, the scenic spot is located in the center of the "Golden Triangle" Development Zone in Hohhot, Baotou and Ordos, and is known as the "golden button on the Yellow River golden belt". Xiangsha Bay was opened up as a tourist attraction in January 1984, listed as a national scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration in 1991, and rated as a national AAAAA tourist attraction in January 2011.
