Ta'er temple is located in lushar Town, Huangzhong County, 25km southwest of Xining City, Qinghai Province. It is a national AAAAA tourist attraction. It is the activity center of Tibetan Buddhism in Northwest China. It is well-known in China and Southeast Asia. Ta'er temple is one of the six major temples of Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism in China. It is also the leading scenic spot in Qinghai Province and the national key cultural relics protection unit. On April 13, 2018, it was shortlisted for "100 wonders in the northwest". Its main buildings are located in a ditch and two slopes of Lianhua Mountain. It consists of dajinwa temple, Dajing hall, Maitreya hall, Jiujian hall, Huasi, xiaojinwa temple, jubazacang, dingkezhacang, mambazacang, dalalang, dakitchen, Ruyi pagoda, etc., forming a huge combination of Tibetan and Han construction Building group, covering an area of 450000 square meters; the tall and low temples of thar temple are scattered with each other's splendor. The golden tile hall with green walls and golden tiles, located in the center of the temple, is the main building of the temple. The buttered flowers, murals and embroidery in Ta'er temple are known as the "three wonders of art".
